Cartier

To celebrate the centennial of Cartier's Trinity, and on the occasion of The New York Times' Modern Love column turning 20 itself, we launched one of the biggest advertising takeovers in the paper's history. First, a four page coverwrap featuring 100 love stories gathered from around the globe, showcasing the breadth of love symbolized by the ring's three golds. The wrap was timed to coincide with a special edition of The New York Times Sunday Magazine created in partnership with the team behind Modern Love, and Cartier owned every advertising space. This was only the second takeover of its kind, and the first time the magazine was distributed internationally in the 128 year history of the magazine.

We commissioned custom illustrations from Lauren Tamaki.
